MANUEL MANOY ALIPON IS AS EXTINCT AS THE DODO.
UNSTOPPABLE SANTA ROSA BACKLASH FOR 2010!
Overwhelming anti-corruption campaign fund substantiates gigantic
electorate backlash against Santa Rosa City's corrupt Vice Mayor
Donations continue to pour in from Philippine and multinational corporations, smaller companies,
OFWs, resident Pinoys and foreign investors to FREE our city from the disastrous, destructive,
dishonorable, dishonest, degenerate, degrading evils of satanist Manuel Manoy Alipon
At last the truth is out and, as the Bible promised, the truth has set us free.
Alipon's stranglehold on Santa Rosa City has been broken.
His lies and crimes are public knowledge.
His gunmen can do nothing to prevent his downfall.
Association with him will only bring you social, financial and political ruin.
His years of local corruption, first as Captain of Barangay Balibago then as Vice Mayor of Sta. Rosa City,
have made Manuel Manoy Alipon the pariah that everybody wants to see defeated in the 2010 elections.
"Despite the excruciating double handicap of global financial crisis and Philippine political corruption, internet
access grew by 91% in 2009, powered by youthful Pinoy confidence and insatiable demand for progress.
Trapos (traditional politicians) are on the run. They cannot cope with the public freedom that new technology brings."
- internet blog
"I've seen enough pain and poverty in the Philippines. All I wanted was to be able to
get out of it - the pain and the poverty - and live decently everyday."
- Arnel Pineda, talking on the Oprah Winfrey Show
"Today the Philippines is a sovereign country that remains heavily dependent on the international community for assistance
in development and even national defense. Millions of Filipinos still need liberation from the bonds of poverty and illiteracy.
Will the nation ever be free from these shackles? Not while the country’s policy-makers are preoccupied with pursuing their
personal agenda ahead of national interest. The country’s neighbors, also emerging from colonial rule and devastated by
the last World War and battles for independence, have sprinted ahead in the race to progress. Even Vietnam, whose
civil war ended just three decades ago, is poised to overtake the Philippines in terms of economic development."
- Philippine Star, June 12, 2009
At the municipal level it's equally accurate to observe that a local politician who
persists in putting his narrow self-interest above the common good persistently
worsens the poverty that already exists in Santa Rosa City. Change is overdue.
"Normal, amicable, rational, open-minded personal or business or political discussion and negotiation with Vice Mayor
Manoy Alipon are never possible. His permanent pathological greed and inhumane corruption are constant barriers to
possibility of peaceful agreement or compromise. His infernally bloated ego is the murderer of people and progress."
- internet blog
"A Filipino is really matalino. Ang Filipino maaalala kung mabuti ang ginawa mo sa kapwa mo
at hindi niya rin malilimutan kung nanlamang ka ng kapwa mo. When you think of who you’d
want to vote, try to think about people who are sincere and very honest. Voters should
support those who are in it for public service, and not those who
are in it to make their personal lives better."
- Aurora Corazon "Pinky" Aquino-Abellada
"Situated so close to Manila and with a unique choice of multinational industrial and commercial zones in the vicinity,
the future of Santa Rosa City is critical and needs our help. There are many positive things the international business
community can do to bring support to the right people and inspire investment rather than sit back and watch Santa Rosa
descend further and further into a humanitarian crisis caused by the blind corruption of one or two backward politicians."
- Japanese business executive interviewed in Laguna Technopark
"Where before our heroes fought to gain political freedom, today, we must use our sense of community and solidarity to
gain freedom from economic deprivation. Ganumpaman, the pain and disruption of the current global contagion hurts. And
the poorest among us are those who hurt the most. But we can take heart in the fact that there are tentative signs of
recovery in the biggest international market — the U.S.
Your services and constant remembrance of your motherland and
the
Philippines form an important part of our country’s social and economic growth."
- excerpted from President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo's 2009 Independence Day message for Filipinos abroad
"I just do whatever it is that I believe I should do, regardless of the risks to my life....
I would rather die a meaningful death than to live a meaningless life....
This is a time to return to our basic values. For us who are a people of faith,
Christians and Muslims alike, it is a time to return to our true faith. True
faith must be rooted in prayer, in our trust of a loving father, in loving sacrifice
of self for the greater good of all. The problems of peace and poverty, social justice
and good governance are concerns of everyone, and everyone must do his or her share."
- Cory Aquino, first ever Woman President of the Philippine Republic
"What my father and mother fought for would be in vain if Filipinos would not carry on their advocacies.
In honoring my parents I pay tribute to the Filipino people. Of all the things that I have learned from my
father and mother, what I value most is the virtue of humility in the eyes of our Creator. Time and again,
both of them have taught us that, by ourselves as individuals, we can only do so much. But when we harness
our collective courage, strength and compassion we can be a great nation, a great people. To my mother,
all her years in public service as President and as Citizen Cory were never about her -
it was always about bringing power – and self-worth – back to the people."
- Senator Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III
"Led by bona fide followers of JESUS, Santa Rosa City will thrive, prosper, flourish and blossom into a future showered with
GOD's blessings beyond human imagination. It will become one of the planet's best and most desirable places to live, a
veritable Paradise on Earth for each and every resident. But if we ever allow it to be led by Manuel Manoy Alipon, the
reptilian disciple of SATAN and the most corrupt Vice Mayor in Santa Rosa's history, he will drag our city down into
the blackest depths of terminal decadence, degeneracy, destruction, hellfire and damnation. In 2010 with GOD on our side
and with campaign resources pouring in from overseas, all opponents of “Judas Manoy” can join forces to fight and win
against this demonic subhuman before his satanic corruptions and extortions create yet more poverty, misery, pollution,
crime, disease and death in Santa Rosa. In 2010 for the future of our children and of our city let us vote for leaders
who are truly faithful to GOD." - Evangelical OFW from Laguna
"The birth of the Philippine Republic was marked by the great sacrifices of Filipinos. Those who fought for our independence
risked and placed everything they had – their fortunes, their families, and their very lives – on the altar of freedom."
- Foreign Affairs Secretary Alberto Romulo, calling on all Filipinos to remember the sacrifices of OFWs and
our families who are left in the Philippines as we celebrated its Independence Day on June 12, 2009
"We call upon people power to vote in popular backlash against Vice Mayor Manoy 'Judas' Alipon's sneaky and
treacherous betrayal of the constituents of Santa Rosa. Let us make 2010 the year that he will be banished
from politics forever. Then at last each and every resident of our city can enjoy the equality, peace, health,
education, prosperity and happiness they all deserve." - Roman Catholic OFW from Laguna
"In 2010 Manuel Manoy Alipon will be a burden and a handicap to any political group that supports him,
whether it favors or opposes the present Malacañang administration. The Vice Mayor's closest family, friends
and supporters know that the anti-corruption campaigns against him have legal substance and a lot of money
behind them. What this indicates more than anything else is an absence of political skills on the part of Manuel
Alipon and his advisors. The people he turns to for professional advice, if indeed he ever listens to anyone else,
will inevitably suffer from association with him. Any real politician with a modicum of the basic skills necessary
to career survival would long ago have been pragmatic enough to nip this situation in the bud, not allow it to
escalate out of control. At the level of Vice Mayor, near the very bottom of the political ladder, making so
many rich and powerful enemies in one's first term of office is political suicide. Manuel Manoy Alipon
had his chance and he blew it. His political career is over, and he has only himself to blame."
- Philippine political analyst/consultant
"Philippine society is buried in the quagmire of graft and corruption, poverty, and other social ills.
It is social movements, not political movements, that can serve as the best engines to change our society
now putrefied by politics where power is put above principle, a society ran to the ground by an economy
infested by greed. Moral transformation of our nation is the concern of everybody. The Moral Force Movement
recognizes the need to change and the change that counts is the change of ourselves – change based on
realization that we have oftentimes faulted others for our problems when we ourselves have defaulted in our
fight for our moral virtues and principles. The MFM is a social movement that would enlist the support of
everyone to restore morality in government for a just and humane society that has been shattered by
stubborn structural injustices and encumbered by the greed of a few." - Chief Justice Reynato S. Puno
"If bad people in our government can join forces to wreak havoc in our country, then why can’t the
good people join forces as well and promote good governance in our country?" - Harvey Keh
"I welcome the launching of the Moral Force Movement. Its emergence comes at a time when the people's
confidence in government has sunk to record lows because of the perception that those in high office have
betrayed the public trust. The involvement of Chief Justice Reynato Puno and other influential leaders of
civil society underscores the urgent need for citizen participation in this non-partisan endeavor. The Moral
Force Movement will play an influential role in educating the electorate about the importance of choosing
leaders who have the moral fiber and political will to transform government and society. I laud Chief Justice
Puno and the other leaders of the Moral Force Movement in taking this bold step and pledge to help, in any
way I can, in achieving its vision of a 'just, humane, prosperous, and genuinely democratic Philippine society'."
- Senator Francis 'Chiz' Escudero (NPC/GO)
"Cyber or Internet Cafés are a Godsend to bring freedom and prosperity to ordinary Filipinos. In big cities or remote provinces,
for as little as 20-30 pesos an hour we can browse the world wide web, see relatives and friends overseas live on webcams
while speaking with them on headsets at no cost, join Facebook/Friendster/Multiply/Twitter/Utube and other free blogsites and
social networks, play global interactive games, read foreign newspapers and see on video the world news without dictatorial
censorship, and study any subject that interests us at online universities. Praise The Lord for giving us this freedom and
this opportunity to use our own brains and make our own decisions with no interference from corrupt local politicians!"
- internet blog
"Every patriotic Filipino should lend his or her full support to the Moral Force Movement
whose philosophy and advocacy are relevant and imperative at this stage in our history."
- Manuel M. "Nonong" Lazaro, President of the Philippine Constitution Association
"A Filipino is really matalino. Ang Filipino maaalala kung mabuti ang ginawa mo sa kapwa mo at hindi niya rin malilimutan kung
nanlamang ka ng kapwa mo. When you think of who you’d want to vote, try to think about people who are sincere and very honest.
Voters should support those who are in it for public service, and not those who are in it to make their personal lives better."
- Aurora Corazon "Pinky" Aquino-Abellada
"The ability to answer a call, however, is not some in-born trait. It is something every man has the potential to do.
All one needs is the courage to answer, and the will to stay the course, both of which are learned, not gained.
Every person and most definitely every Filipino has, therefore, the potential to be a hero,
to be Cory Aquino: the hero we need, the hero we deserve, and the hero we all can be."
- Kiko Aquino Dee
"This country needs fresh leaders. Change in leadership would cure and finally end the cancer of corruption. The
embarrassment of our poor showing in international statistics and surveys on corruption should be seen from a
positive perspective. We should look at it as a warning, a call for reform, a call for renewal and transformation."
- CBCP president Archbishop Angel Lagdameo
"The challenge to you is: will you use your knowledge, your new
power, to improve the lives of the poor who
constitute the majority of our people? Or will you be indifferent to their plight, join their exploiters, and be
the defenders of the stinking status quo? Our call, as one writer states it well, is not just to be successful
but to be significant. We can never be significant if we allow the ethics taught to us in UP to be eroded by
the virus of selfishness." - Chief Justice Reynato S. Puno, addressing UP graduates
