"We have heard the same rumors as you that Vice Mayor Manoy Alipon was behind the killings of Mely Carvajal, Leon
Arcillas, Boyie Gomez, Jensen Cristobal and Raul Aala, and the attempted slaying of Joey Catindig. It is rumored that
over several years Manuel 'Manoy' G. Alipon's ruthless desire to be Mayor hatched a cunning and devious plot to create a
false vendetta that would divide and conquer the Arcillas and Catindig clans who stood in his way by turning their massive
political organizations and their many thousands of supporters against each other. His alleged plan was to sneak past them
while they are fighting and seize the mayoralty for himself. Already we know he is guilty of grafts, adulteries, corruptions,
deceits, extortions, frauds, thefts, dealings in illegal drugs and guns, and other unlawful activities. We also know that many
of his former sponsors, volunteers and voters are turning their backs on this satanist hypocrite and switching their support
to candidates who are true to Santa Rosa and who will genuinely serve our city with ethics, honesty, integrity and honor
like those of Cory Aquino who saved our whole country from the evil dictator Marcos. This collective deserved backlash
will vote Manuel "Satan-Worshiper" Gonzales Alipon out of politics forever. The longer that Alipon remains in politics,
the more damage he will do. He is a municipal calamity, a bringer of destruction and disaster to our city and our people."

CRIME IN SANTA ROSA AND THROUGHOUT THE
PHILIPPINES
Why do corrupt Philippine politicians murder their rivals?
They never do it themselves of course, but hire hitmen to assassinate opponents.
Think it through for yourself. The declared policies of most poliical parties are almost the same.
They all say they want to help the people. Would anyone murder over a minor difference in policy?
The best way to help the people is to allow honest democracy to run its course.
So is it fear that their corruption will be made public if their rivals are voted into office?
Partly, but it's more than this. The main reason is GREED: the real root of all evil.
They’re scared of losing the public funds they siphon off into their own bank accounts.
One example involved money intended to provide computers for a school in the provinces.
For every million pesos allocated just one desktop computer was supplied to the school.
And its specification was already obsolete. In fact it was practically prehistoric.
One million pesos for a desktop pc that any savvy schoolteacher could have bought for 10k.
So where did the other 990,000 pesos go for each computer supplied to the school?
Guess what? It didn’t go to help any kids get education and training in IT.
This is how the Manila Standard recently put it:
"Consider this: The spending limit for a senatorial candidate is P225 million, or P5 per
registered voter. And there are more than 45 million registered voters. Read this: Apart from the
monthly P35,000 salary for a senator, there is a fixed monthly budget of P1.7 million for office
and staff expenses, and an additional P760,000 in foreign travel and additional perks. Listen to this:
Some senators hardly travel abroad. When they do, they do not only use the travel budget. They
ask for more, even pocket money. And they bring their spouses and children, secretaries and
girlfriends, doctors or even yayas. And how’s this? Each senator gets P793,000 a month for staff
salaries and another P998,000 for office expenses such as rentals, utilities, supplies and domestic
travel. If a senator is a committee chairman, he or she gets a similar budget of what she gets as
a regular senator. And there is no rule requiring senators to return the money that has not been used.
This means they have the option of pocketing the excess cash. Do we wonder then why people are
just so eager to be senators? It beats winning a casino jackpot or winning a lottery—it’s all tax-free.
***
Now read this and weep: Above all the things I just mentioned, a senator is given P200 million
out of the P1.71 billion Senate budget under the General Appropriations Act. Senator Santiago speaks
of 10 percent kickback from public works contractor to be given awards for infrastructure and
from other awarded contracts for livelihood projects, social services, like health and education.
Miriam is being conservative. The usual kickback given goes as high as 30 to 40 percent for contracts
pinpointed by members of Congress. Do you understand now why everybody wants to be a
lawmaker? And why candidates will do everything, including spending money as
though it
were going out of style, just to get elected? Doleouts to favored people are also unaudited.
They are running for public service because their hearts bleed for the poor and needy?
Aw, come on, don’t give me that BS.
They run because there’s a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow,
all at the expense of the Filipino people."

Leaders are role models, and corrupt leaders set an example that everyone else follows.
When people see their politicians commit crime after crime, they conclude it’s ok to do the same.
Widespread crime in the Philippines is directly caused by corrupt government.
When those at the top are criminals, their disease spreads all the way down to the bottom.

"I've seen enough pain and poverty in the Philippines. All I wanted was to be able to get out of it - the pain and the poverty - and live decently everyday."
- Arnel Pineda, talking on the Oprah Winfrey Show
"Some people are surprised at how inactive and reclusive our corrupt Vice Mayor, Manoy Alipon, has been lately. When
he was merely 'Kap Manoy' of Barangay Balibago the city of Sta. Rosa was flooded with his fake smile on promotional
tarpaulins everywhere. Since then the floods have come from 'Ondoy', 'Pepeng' and other calamities, and the cowardly
Manoy Alipon hides away behind the unlicenced guns of illegally armed municipal employees. Why? Because he was
involved with illegal Laguna De Bay activities causing the unnecessary floods that made so many people homeless and
destitute. His entire working life consists of involvement with illegal activities that destroy the peoples' homes and God's
environment given to us all for responsible use and protection. God may forgive Manoy Alipon, but it is hard for humans
to see forgiveness in the faces of thousands of poor innocent children suffering from malnutrition and disease when the
funds allocated to help them are plundered and spent by our Vice Mayor Alipon to give his own children very expensive
educations. He, Manuel Gonzales Alipon, represents the worst and most destructive element in Philippine politics. With
no ethics and no morality, he demonstrates daily how easy it is for criminals to become rich in our society by entering
politics. He failed as seminarian. He failed as teacher. He failed as businessman. With God guiding our paths, it is our
Christian duty to ensure that Manoy Alipon fails as politician. Working together against his corruption, we will stop him."
