We have all heard the same rumors as you that Manuel Manoy Alipon is now suspected of being behind the killings of Mely Carvajal, Leon Arcillas, Boyie Gomez, Jensen Cristobal and Raul Aala, and in the attempted slaying of Joey Catindig who narrowly survived an ambush in 2006. Alipon's consuming and ruthless desire to be Mayor is well known for many years, and the obstacles standing in his way are rival factions of the Arcillas, Catindig and Aala clans. All three have established political organizations, each with many thousands of supporters. The rumors are that Alipon is suspected to have plotted over several years to set these rival clans at each others' throats and while they fight each other to sneak past them and seize the mayoralty for himself.
