"Some people are surprised at how inactive and reclusive our corrupt Vice Mayor, Manoy Alipon, has been lately. When
he was merely 'Kap Manoy' of Barangay Balibago the city of Sta. Rosa was flooded with his fake smile on promotional
tarpaulins everywhere. Since then the floods have come from 'Ondoy', 'Pepeng' and other calamities, and the cowardly
Manoy Alipon hides away behind the unlicenced guns of illegally armed municipal employees. Why? Because he was
involved with illegal Laguna De Bay activities causing the unnecessary floods that made so many people homeless and
destitute. His entire working life consists of involvement with illegal activities that destroy the peoples' homes and God's
environment given to us all for responsible use and protection. God may forgive Manoy Alipon, but it is hard for humans
to see forgiveness in the faces of thousands of poor innocent children suffering from malnutrition and disease when the
funds allocated to help them are plundered and spent by our Vice Mayor Alipon to give his own children very expensive
educations. He, Manuel Gonzales Alipon, represents the worst and most destructive element in Philippine politics. With
no ethics and no morality, he demonstrates daily how easy it is for criminals to become rich in our society by entering
politics. He failed as seminarian. He failed as teacher. He failed as businessman. With God guiding our paths, it is our
Christian duty to ensure that Manoy Alipon fails as politician. Working together against his corruption, we will stop him."

of Mely Carvajal, Leon Arcillas, Boyie Gomez, Jensen Cristobal and Raul Aala, and in the attempted slaying of Joey
Catindig who narrowly survived an ambush in 2006. Alipon's consuming and ruthless desire to be Mayor is well known
for many years, and the only obstacles standing in his way are rival factions of the Arcillas clan and the Catindig clan.
Both clans have established political organizations, each with many thousands of supporters. The rumors are that Alipon
is suspected to have been scheming over several years to set the two clans at each others' throats and to sneak past
them while they are fighting each other so as to seize the mayoralty for himself. We do not know if there is truth in
these rumors. We do know that his grafts, adulteries, corruptions, deceits, extortions, frauds, thefts and other illegal
activities are manifestly true. We also know that Manoy Alipon's public image is at rock bottom and that many of his
former sponsors, volunteers and voters are turning their backs on this evil hypocrite and switching their support to
candidates who are true to Santa Rosa City and who will genuinely serve our people with ethics, honesty, integrity
and honor. This collective deserved backlash will vote Alipon out of politics forever. The longer he remains in office,
the more damage he will do to our city and our people. He's a municipal calamity, a bringer of destruction and disaster."
